Ammonium chloride is an inorganic compound formed by the reaction of ammonia (NH3) and hydrogen chloride (HCl). It usually appears as a white crystalline solid and is easily soluble in water at room temperature. Ammonium chloride can be prepared by the reaction of ammonia and hydrogen chloride in air, or can be extracted from minerals containing ammonium chloride.
Fertilizer: Ammonium chloride is a nitrogen fertilizer that provides nitrogen needed by plants and promotes plant growth.
Electrolyte: used as an electrolyte in the aluminum production process.
Pharmaceutical products: Used in some medicines to supplement chloride ions and nitrogen sources.
Food industry: as an additive for flour processing agents, condiments, etc., it can also be used as a sour agent in candy production.
Chemical experiments: Used for chemical reactions, analysis and pH regulation in the laboratory.
